Julie Sundman’s Performance and Audition Skills Class

Julie has been a costume designer, director, or producer to more than 50 youth theater productions in the last 20 years.

She loves to provide opportunities for young people to shine in amateur theater, and won the Freddie G. Fellowship for theater teachers in 2016. She was a former amateur entertainer with The Young Americans and taught private school music, choir and theater for many years. She has recently fulfilled all requirements for CA credentials in Music. Julie and her family are the founders of Sunny Hills Youth Theater.

Classes 2024 – Mondays – August 26-September 30

Fees - $75 per student (siblings at 1/2 off)

This six week class will focus on teaching beginning vocal techniques and solo performance skills. Learn how to present a song, hold a microphone and express yourself to an audience!

TENTATIVE CLASS SCHEDULE!

4:00-4:45    5-11 year olds

5:00-6:00    12-18 year olds

In this class, we will learn various musical theater songs as a group. Students will be given the opportunity to practice their performance skills or learn by observing others! Parents may watch the last class. This class may repeat every 6 weeks with the introduction of new materials and new skills.
